Keythe Weider Roswell, GA graduates from Kennesaw State University

Keythe Weider of Roswell, GA graduated from Kennesaw State University on Dec. 13 - 14, 2016. Fall commencement also marked the first time that Samuel S. Olens presided over the University's graduation ceremonies since being named president on Nov. 1.

Olens was named the fourth president of Kennesaw State on Oct. 12, by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. He served as Georgia's attorney general since 2010. From 2002 through 2010, he was chairman of the Cobb County Board of Commissioners. Olens served as a Cobb County commissioner from 1999 through 2002.

From 2004 through 2009, he also served as chairman of the Atlanta Regional Commission. Olens received his juris doctorate from Emory University School of Law, and holds a bachelor's and master's degree from American University in international politics.
