STEM Innovators Conference honors Kennesaw State student Emmanuel Nnamani

Kennesaw State student Emmanuel Nnamani of Austell was honored recently for outstanding research at the STEM Innovators Conference in Savannah, Ga. Nnamani is a Peach State Louis Stokes Alliance Minority Participation (LSAMP) Scholar.

There are currently more than 50 LSAMP Scholars at Kennesaw State. The LSAMP initiative is designed to improve minority participation and success in undergraduate and graduate science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) degree programs.

With a recent grant from the National Science Foundation, LSAMP Scholars conducted cutting-edge research with top engineers and scientists and presented their work at the STEM Innovators Conference.
